Jennifer Groebe, LCSW
Long Term Health Care Consultant
Jennifer’s background in the senior health care industry speaks volumes for her contributions to elders and their families. When earning a master’s degree in social welfare from UC Berkeley, her dual majors in Gerontology and Agency Management provided the catalyst for her work in the medical field. As a licensed clinical social worker in Northern California and provider of continuing education for mental health, nursing, and long-term care professionals, Jennifer is connected to professional eldercare programs and providers. During her 32-year career at Kaiser Permanente, Ms. Groebe made numerous presentations at national and international conferences, worked on or managed projects, including the well-known Adverse Childhood Experience (ACE) project, that impacts the organization and communities today. Eldercare, domestic violence prevention, mental health research, and end of life care are areas dear to Jennifer. Community involvement includes membership on the board of directors of the International Association for Energy Comprehensive Energy Psychology www.energypsych.org and membership on the mental health committee of the Cape Verdean American Medical Society, CVAMS https://cvaphysicians.org/about-us/
