I work with professionals who have ageing, elderly and disabled clients. I help clients and families identify and address health care needs and decision-making concerns, advocating for those decisions along their health care journey. Responding in a timely manner, I begin with a thorough assessment of psychosocial, emotional, medical and functional needs. From there I can recommend changes to meet identified needs. I have developed a wealth of resources over the years which are updated regularly. Extending my vast knowledge of health care, I can speak clearly and accurately to medical professionals and families about the care of their elders and patients. I am able to facilitate a start or increase in home care or placement to a higher level of care, represent the patient who cannot speak for themselves anymore at medical appointments, complete long term care insurance claims, work with fiduciaries to arrange the most appropriate care.
